Italian Open 2019: Rain Washes Day’s Play in Rome

Novak Djokovic v Malek Jaziri Dubai Open 2020 Live Streaming, Preview, H2H and Prediction: Routine Opening Win Expected For Djokovic

A revised schedule for Wednesday at the Italian Open 2019 was to have Novak Djokovic take to court as one of only four matches to be played on the day but it has now been decided no play will be possible.*

Incessant rain in Rome ensured play was washed out through most of the day and it was going to begin at 7.30 pm local time with Djokovic kick-starting the day’s action.

The Serb was going to take on Denis Shapovalov in his second round match looking to build on his strong showing at the Madrid Masters last week. Djokovic had gone on to win his second title of the year last week beating Stefanos Tsitsipas in the final.
