No, we are not talking about the Queue, which is an option too but there are no guarantees. Spending time overnight in a Wimbledon Queue is an exciting adventure for a few but there are others who prefer to have the comfort of knowing they already have a Wimbledon ticket in hand.

Enter Ticketmaster, a ticketing website that partners with Wimbledon and sells a few tickets online everyday. Now make no mistake you need to be quite nimble and possess a great internet connection because tickets get lapped up very quickly the moment they are released online – obviously – but according to the official Wimbledon site, every day, a few hundred tickets for the Centre Court and No.3 Court can be bought online.

Two types of tickets will be available for this year’s Wimbledon using this option; the returned tickets and the reserved tickets.

The returned tickets, as the name suggests are those tickets which patrons have returned to Wimbledon because they haven’t been able to attend the tournament. These Wimbledon tickets are then listed with Ticketmaster and can be purchased for Centre Court and No.3 Court 48 hours before the day’s play.

The other ticketing option with Ticketmaster for Wimbledon are the reserved tickets which again, are available for Centre Court and No.3 Court but their sale begins slightly later – every morning for the next day’s play.

These tickets cost the same as they did earlier, i.e. there’s no premium attached to them.

Novak Djokovic and Angelique Kerber will defend their Wimbledon crowns later this year. You can get a lot more information on how buy the 2019 Wimbledon tickets here.
