Elina Svitolina v Daria Gavrilova Head to Head
Svitolina holds an imposing 6-2 lead over her Australian adversary, defeating her in their last five encounters. This is set to be their first meeting on the grass surface and the two ladies last met in the 2019 Indian Wells.

Her grass court preparations involved her participating in the Eastbourne International, where she lost in the second round to Shuai Zhang. As for her best run of the season, it came in Strasbourg, where she reached the quarterfinal.

This is going to be a troublesome match for Svitolina. She has lost all of her matches on grass so far and hasn’t had a commanding run in the recent weeks. While Gavrilova is on the same boat, it will all come down to individual plays and momentum. Svitolina will start as the favourite here, given her superior experience.
