Lauren Davis v Madison Keys Head to Head
The pair have never met before. This will be the first match between the two Americans.

Davis Enjoys Easy Opener
Davis has appeared in this tournament on five previous occasions, with her best showing being a third round appearance back in 2014.
She was given a kind first round draw on Monday though against the British wildcard Jodie Anna Burrage, and it took her less than an hour to beat the world number 274.
Davis made a poor start, losing her opening service game, but she broke back to level immediately, and then broke the British woman twice more to take the first set. The first three games of the second set went with serve, but from that point on, Burrage did not win a single game, and the American cruised to victory.
The American will now look to emulate her best ever showing at Wimbledon – and for that matter any Grand Slam – by looking to move into the third round.

Keys Plucks Swan’s Feathers
Keys was a Wimbledon quarter-finalist back in 2015, and made the fourth round the following year. Like Davis, Keys had a British layer to face in the first round, in her case the qualifier Katie Swan, the world 202.
And like her compatriot, enjoyed a comfortable win, even if she was made to work slightly harder for it.
Having held her opening serve, keys broke Swan early in the first set, and then held on top it to take the first set, although she did have to save two break back points at one stage.
She then broke the British woman at the start of the second set and that proved to be enough. Swan was unable to threaten a comeback, and, although to her credit, she saved two match points, Keys made the third count.
Davis v Keys Prediction and Tip
Keys will start the favourite because she is the higher ranked player, a seed, and has a better Wimbledon record. Can she ram home the advantage though against a player who has a decent record at Wimbledon.
