Alexei Popyrin v James Duckworth Head to Head
The pair have never played each other before. This will be the first match between the 22-year old Popyrin, and Duckworth, who is seven years older.

Popyrin came through the qualifying competition in Paris, beating the American Tommy Paul in the process.
In the first round he played another Australian, Alex de Minaur, shocking the world number 32 by taking the first set to love. When he broke again at the start of the second set, it seemed like an easy victory was in store for the world number 71.
But de Minaur broke back and Popyrin was forced to do it all over again, this time consolidating the break by serving out for the match.
That earned him a second round tie with the number three seed, Stefanos Tsitsipas Popyrin was break up in the first set, when the Greek was forced to retire with a right arm injury. Potentially putting participation in the ATP Finals in doubt.

Duckworth Battles Through in Paris
Duckworth has had to dig deep to reach the third round in Paris with two battling performances.
His week begam with a match against the Spaniard Roberto Carballes-Baena, and, having lost the first set to the number 14 seed, had to win a third set tie-break to progress.
Next up was Lorenzo Musetti of Italy, one of the NextGen ATP finalists, who had actually been knocked out in qualifying but earned his spot in the main draw as a lucky loser.
The Australian began well, breaking Musetti in his opening service game, and he consolidated his lead, despite having his first four set points saved.
The second set went with serve, but Duckworth had two break points saved. That proved costly in the short-term as Musetti was able to break him in turn next game and soon the match was level again.
But then the Italian was broken once more early in the third set, and Duckworth was in control from that point on, with Musetti able to do little about it. Victory was sealed with his first match point.
Popyrin v Duckworth Prediction and Tip
Australia are guaranteed to have one man in the quarter-finals after this match, which will be uncharted territory for both men. It is likely to be close, but Duckworth’s greater experience may help him to edge this.
