Alexander Zverev v Casper Ruud Head to Head
While Zverev got a walkover in their Acupulco quarter-final, the German prevailed in straight sets in the final eight of the Cininnati Masters.

The season got off to a good start for Alexander Zverev, winning titles at Acupulco and Madrid, as well as making the quarters at the Aussie Open and semis at the French.
While his Wimbledon run may have been less than optimal, things took a positive turn for him thereafter.
Zverev won the gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics, defeating Novak Djokovic en route and looked in ominous form winning the Cincinnati Masters defeating Stefanos Tsitsipas and Andrey Rublev in the latter stages.
Zverev was on a 16 match winning streak heading into the USOpen semi-finals where he fell short against Novak Djokovic in a five set battle.
After a successful Laver Cup, Zverev returned to the circuit at Indian Wells and looked good for the title before losing out to Taylor Fritz in the quarter-finals after having been in a position of strength having had match points on his own serve.
The second seed German continued his strong run in Vienna last week, where he looked shaky at the start of the week, but looked in imperious form in the latter stages to prevail against Carlos Alcaraz and Frances Tiafoe convincingly in straight sets.
After a routine win against Dusan Lajovic in his opener here, Zverev was in a tight third round match against 2017 ATP Tour Finals winner.
Zverev started well and was serving for the match at 5-3, only for Dimitrov to take it into a tie-break before the German prevailed 7-4. The second set went on serve and Zverev had match points on the Dimitrov serve at 5-6 but was unable to convert and this time around the Bulgarian clipped the tiebreak to send the match into a decider.
Dimitrov started stronger but was unable to leverage off any of his early break point opportunities in the final set and once Zverev broke at 3-3, it was another win for the German improving his record to 27-2 since Wimbledon

Ruud Qualifies For Turin
Casper Ruud has had a fantastic season and will be looking to keep the impressive run going in the final few tournaments of the year.
The Norwegian has more than 50 wins this year which includes five titles, including his first ever title on hard court.
A solid clay court player, Ruud picked four titles on the surface this year, in Geneva, Bastaad, Gstaad and Kitzbuhel and won his first hard court title in San Diego. As a result of this phenomenal success, Ruud has made massive gains in the rankings, becoming the first Norwegian into the top 10.
Since winning in San Diego, he reached the Round of 16 in Indian Wells and quarter-finalist last week in Vienna.
It has been a good start to the week for the Norwegian here in Paris, with convincing wins against Alexander Bublik and Marcos Giron ensuring he has sealed a spot at the ATP Tour Finals in Giron as well.
Zverev v Ruud Prediction and Tip
Ruud will be more rested out of the two after a relatively straightforward third round encounter, unlike Zverev who had to battle through a three-setter with Dimitrov.
Expect a good contest on the cards with the latest entrant to Turin giving it his all. But, the German has been in good form and can be picked to pip Ruud in a three-setter.
Tip: Zverev to win in three sets: 11/4 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
