Paula Badosa v Victoria Azarenka Head to Head

Azarenka, Bustling with Experience and Rhythm
Former World No. 1 Victoria Azarenka had a decent stint in 2021, particularly towards the end of the season. She reached the quarterfinal in the Canadian Open and later, delivered consecutive third-round appearances in Cincinnati, New York, and Chicago.
The 31-year-old Belarusian ended the year with the runner-up feat at Indian Wells.
Her first half of the season was mired with withdrawals – she didn’t participate in her penultimate-round fixtures in the Grampians Trophy, Qatar Open, WTA Bad Homburg. Had she played those matches, Azarenka could have, in all likelihood, walked away with a couple of titles.
The two-time Australian Open champion is well-versed and experienced with the nuances of playing in the land down under.
After a more or less consistent season in 2021 – at least in terms of playing on the tour – she will fancy her chances of delivering a superior run this time around.
