Oscar Otte v Mitchell Krueger Head to Head
They haven’t met at the tour level, but have faced once at the French Open qualifier, with Otte winning that match in 2017.

Oscar Otte won three Challenger titles from four finals last year and will be hoping to make it big at the tour-level this season. But the start hasn’t been good so far as he comes to Miami with a 3-5 season record in the main draws.
The highlight for him this season was his ATP 1000 debut in Indian Wells, where he won his opening round match against Richard Gasquet before falling to Hubert Hurkacz in the second round. Now into his second Masters 1000 tournament, the 28-year-old German would look to make a winning start in Miami as well.
Otte also made his Australian Open debut this year and won his first round match against Chun-hsin Tseng before falling to Lorenzo Sonego in four sets.
Most recently, he was seen at the phoenix Challenger, where he went down in the opening round to Radu Albot.
Otte has constantly climbed the rankings over the last couple of years and broke into the top 100 for the first time in January. He reached a career high ranking of 74 this week and will be looking to keep improving that ranking with the consistency that has brought him to this level.

Krueger Qualifies for Main Draw
Mitchell Krueger has had a tough time this season, even at the Challenger level, but he will be delighted with his performances in the qualifying rounds in Miami that put him into the main draw.
Krueger scored a convincing 6-2, 6-2 victory against compatriot Stefan Kozlov in the first qualifying round and then eliminated the third seed Kevin Anderson 7-5, 7-6 in the second qualifying round on Tuesday to reach the main draw in Miami for the first time.
Krueger is 1-2 in the main draws this year, with his only win coming over Jordan Thompson in the first round at Delray Beach. He began the season by reaching the semifinals of the Traralgon Challenger in Australian but has lost form since then. He qualified for the main draw in Phoenix Challenger last week, but lost the opener to Denis Kudla.
Otte v Krueger Prediction and Tip
Otte will be the favourite to win this contest. Expect him to advance for a meeting with 22nd seed Gael Monfils in the second round.
