Świątek to Continue Winning

35 matches, 35 wins. That is Swiatek’s record over the past few months and at Wimbledon, despite having never done as well as she has otherwise, this can be expected to continue even further.

Because it seems like it is Swiatek’s time at the top and she could well seal the deal even on grass.

The 21-year-old is coming off a French Open title victory – her second in three years – and in the last 13 matches, she has dropped just one set.

She had earlier made it to the semifinal at the Australian Open played this season, but at Wimbledon, her best showing was the fourth round she got to last year. Other than that, a second round exit at Eastbourne last year and a 0-3 win-loss record in 2019 make it a tricky affair for the world number one.

Add that to the fact Swiatek hasn’t played a single match since her French Open victory, and it could get interesting how she goes about her business in this opener.

While Swiatek will still be an overwhelming favourite to make it her 36th win in a row, her performance could set a marker on the how she goes in this tournament.

Fett Holding Her Own in Qualifiers

After having made it to the main draw at Birmingham earlier this year by winning a couple of qualifiers, Fett repeated the dose with three successive qualifier wins at Wimbledon this season.

The Croat, who has won a round at the 2018 Australian Open in what was her only victory in a Grand Slam, defeated Paula Ormaechea, Mariam Bolkvadze and Katarina Zavatska to make it to the main draw here.

Earlier this year, Fett did make it to the final of an ITF event in Nottingham – played on hard court – but her form has been quite dodgy otherwise. Which is also why her qualification for the main draw is a huge surprise.

What wouldn’t be a surprise is the result of this match with Swiatek expected to be too good for her opponent.

Świątek v Fett Prediction and Tip

Swiatek is 1/100 to win this and we could be looking at a very straightforward, 6-2, 6-2 sort of a scoreline here. Under 17.5 games expected.

Tip: Under 17.5 games in the match: 5/6 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
