Diego Schwartzman v Liam Broady Head to Head

Despite not being the greatest player on grass, Schwartzman can actually win a couple of matches on the surface. The Argentine player got things started against qualifiers Stefan Kozlov and he largely cruised with any issues.
The American does not have the most powerful serve and Diego was able to keep the ball in play for long enough to create chances for himself. He had 16 break points overall converting 9 of those which is superb. He did have some issues on his own serve dropping it three times.
Despite that, he was able to cruise rather well. It’s a solid year for Schwartzman so far with a 26-14 record on the year. He’s never that great on grass but he can certainly win matches.
He bested Broady last year at Wimbledon as well and it came after he dropped the opening set. I expect something similar here because there is a huge difference in quality between the players.

Broady Barely Through
Liam Broady barely reached the 2nd round of Wimbledon after taking down qualifiers Lukas Klein. The Slovakian player played a very strong match in this one with good chances to actually win it.
However, the Brit was able to rally in time to win the match after a long battle and five sets. Klein outplayed Broady for a better part of this match but in the end, he lacked the experience to close out the match. Broady picked his spots a bit better and he was rewarded for being more aggressive.
He doesn’t have the best score on grass mostly because he did not play that many matches and when he did play he was simply overmatched by a better player. Stylistically he does best on hard courts and that’s where he does most of his damage.
21-16 is the score in 2022 with 5-4 on grass. He will have a chance to avenge last year’s loss to Schwartzman at Wimbledon.
Schwartzman v Broady Prediction and Tip
So these two played last year at Wimbledon and Broady took the opening set. That was the only set he would take that day as Schwartzman battled back in a rather strong fashion to win the next three. I think he’s going to do the same as well.
Broady is not that good on grass and he proved it round one. Against a noted clay court player, he barely powred through. Schwartzman got this easily.
