Alex de Minaur v Adrian Mannarino Head to Head
There have been two previous matches between these two players at the highest level and both have won one apiece.
The first came at the Zhuhai Open final in 2019 and it was de Minaur to came through to lift his third ATP title. Mannarino avenged that defeat earlier this year in Rosmalen where he defeated the Aussie 6-2, 6-3 to reach the quarterfinal.

de Minaur Overcomes Duckworth
After a first round bye, de Minaur did not waste a lot of time in getting past fellow Aussie James Duckworth to seal his place in the last eight.
De Minaur, who was playing in his first match since making it to the fourth round at Wimbledon, was on court for an hour and 23 minutes for his 6-4, 6-4 victory.
It was de Minaur who drew the first blood in the opening set, breaking his opponent in the fifth game. And while he dropped his own serve in the eighth game, de Minaur broke right back in the ninth before serving it out to take the lead.
The second set began on just the right note for de Minaur as he went 2-0 up and held on to that break, completing an easy win off his second match-point.
Can he now tame a player who had beaten him just the last month?

Mannarino Makes it Past Martin
After having lost in the qualifiers to Taro Daniel and then making it to the main draw as a lucky loser, Mannarino has won successive matches in straight sets to seal his last eight berth.
In the first, Mannarino had gotten past Peter Gojowczyk, winning 6-3, 7-6 (7) before racing past Andres Martin in the second round.
Martin, himself ranked outside the top 700 and a part of this tournament as a wildcard entrant, had stunned Thanasi Kokkinakis in the first round and was expected to be no pushover.
Mannarino, however, needed just an hour and 25 minutes to make it past him and seal his place in the quarterfinals. He won 7-5, 6-3, with four breaks of serves under his belt to just one conceded.
Can he now make it two in two against de Minaur?
de Minaur v Mannarino Prediction and Tip
De Minaur is 3/10 to get past his opponent in this one but we could see a bit of a fight here. Might see a third set before de Minaur triumphs.
