Paula Badosa v Petra Kvitova Head to Head
There have been two previous meetings between these players and both have won one apiece. Kvitova defeated Badosa the first time they met at the 2020 Australian Open but the Spaniard had her revenge earlier this year at Wimbledon.

Badosa 1-5 in Last Six Appearances
It’s her recent performances that would have helped Badosa nonplussed, especially after having reached a career-high ranking of world number two not so long ago.
Since then, however, the Spanish 24-year-old has lost five of her previous six matches including a second round exit at US Open. That sole win came against Lesia Tsurenko who was 9/2 going into their encounter at Flushing Meadows.
It was very different for Badosa at the start of the year as she began the season with a title win in Sydney and built up a 17-6 win-loss record in the first quarter. Things have gone south since, but more so on her return to hard court tennis.
It could be a minor blip, a case of a short phase and the return to form could be just around the corner for the fourth-ranked Badosa. Unfortunately for her, she takes on a tricky veteran.

Kvitova Stretched by Pera
After returning from her fourth round appearance at the US Open, Kvitova needed some time to get going but managed a three-set win over Bernarda Pera in her opener here.
Kvitova was on court for two hours and eight minutes in her 6-3, 2-6, 6-4 win over Pera.
And it was Kvitova’s ability to get out of the jail with her second serves that helped her through as she won 65% of those points as compared to her own 50% of the first serve points and her opponent’s 33% of the second serve points.
In the end there was nothing much more to choose between the two players who both got themselves 13 break-points and broke the other player five times. Kvitova did it over the first and the third set when it really mattered.
Badosa v Kvitova Prediction and Tip
What’s interesting to note here is Kvitova is a favourite at 3/5 but we believe Badosa has the game to challenge the Czech. Can she find form though? We believe it could happen here.
Tip: Badosa to win: 11/10 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
