The World no. 2 saved all the eight break points that she faced in the match and converted 4 of 7 to win the contest 6-2, 6-3 in an hour and 13 minutes.
The top seed Jabeur improved her season record to 45-14. She has reached six finals this year, including her first two in the majors, finishing runner-up in Wimbledon and the U.S. Open.
Jabeur won her maiden WTA 1000 title in Madrid and her first WTA 500 in Berlin. But she finished runner-up in Charleston and Rome.
The Tunisian will be looking to reach her 12th quarterfinal of the season.

Rodina Dumps Out Ruse
Playing just her second tournament of the year, Evgeniya Rodina once again won her first round match, defeating Elena-Gabriela Ruse in Monastir.
Rodina, who won her opening round match at the U.S. Open and lost in the next round, needed an hour and 20 minutes to beat the Belgian 6-1, 6-3.
Ruse didn’t hold serve even once in the match, but converted 4 of 4 break points. In contrast, the World no. 556 Rodina converted 8 of 18 break points.
The 33-year-old former World no. 67 made a first appearance on court at the U.S. Open this year since 2019. Having started off well at the Jasmin Open, can she keep the form going in the next round?
