Belinda Bencic v Barbora Krejcikova Head to Head
Bencic leads 2-1. They met just last week in Tallinn in the semifinal where Krejcikova won 6-7(5), 7-6(2), 6-2.

Bencic has now got a chance to avenge her last week’s loss in Estonia to Krejcikova. It was a close encounter that saw two tie-breaks, with the match lasting well over three hours. The Swiss also saved five match points valiantly in the deciding game of the final set.
On the whole, Belinda is at 37-17 – comprising a title from Charleston and a runner-up feat in Berlin.
Now ranked World No. 14, she was also a semifinalist in Miami and a quarterfinalist in the Canadian Open.

Krejcikova Storms Past Rogers
By contrast, home favourite Barbora Krejcikova is off to a good start in Ostrava as she beat Shelby Rogers 6-2, 6-2.
Fresh off her first title of the season, the Czech is certainly in good form and has all the momentum in the world needed to keep the streak going. It was a long wait for her to win a singles trophy, with her last one coming in Prague in July 2021.
Krejcikova’s journey in Tallinn saw her beat the likes of Ajla Tomljanovic, Beatriz Haddad Maia, Bencic, and Anett Kontaveit. That was also her third tournament of the season where she won more than three matches in a tournament. Her record now is 21-14.
Barbora is now #23 in the singles ranking and doubles #2; in the latter, she won three major titles with Katerina Siniakova to maintain her dominance there.
Bencic v Krejcikova Prediction and Tip
This match can go either way, making it difficult to call a winner at this point. Krejcikova makes for a better bet, however, purely owing to her home advantage. On a safer side, expect this to see many games.
