Miomir Kecmanovic v Marco Cecchinato Head to Head
There has been one previous meeting between these two players and that came in 2022 in Santiago. Kecmanovic had won that in straight sets.

After having sent Hubert Hurkacz packing, one expected a little more resistance from Bernabe Zapata Miralles. Kecmanovic, however, has himself been in some excellent rhythm and needed less than an hour and a half to get past his Spaniard opponent in their quarterfinal.
In doing so, Kecmanovic had made it to his second semifinal of the season.
The Serb, who had routed Luca Nardi and Jurij Rodionov in the first two rounds, overcame Zapata Miralles 7-5, 6-2.
The first set went to serve till the 10th game with neither player earning even one break-point. In the 11th, Kecmanovic got the first one for the match and converted it before serving it out to love.
It proved to be a lot easier in the second set for Kecmanovic, who got the better of Zapata Miralles’ serve in the third and seventh games. In the eighth, he served for the match and won it off his first match-point. He had not faced a single break-point in the encounter, continuing his excellent form.

Cecchinato Shock for Fokina
Such has been Fokina’s form this season that he had gone into his quarterfinal against Cecchinato as a 1/4 favourite. Cecchinato, however, had other ideas.
The Italian withstood Fokina’s force, needing a tad over two hours to carve out a 7-5, 7-6 (5) win over his opponent.
Cecchinato, who had earlier found a way past Diego Schwartzman and Fabio Fognini in the previous rounds, held on to his serve facing just one break-point in the first set. So did Fokina till the 11th game before he was broken as he served to stay in the set.
In the second set, Cecchinato was up a break and soon had a match-point on his own serve. Fokina broke back to force the set into a tie-breaker but that’s about as deep he could take the match as Cecchinato wrapped it up very soon.
Can he now put up a strong showing against another player in form here?

While Kecmanovic is a favourite, we don’t think odds of 1/3 do justice to his opponent here. This could go the distance or at least see two very hard-fought sets.
