With the tennis calendar getting hit by the pandemic, ATP has stepped in to include a few more tournaments in 2021 and one that will be organised after the Miami Open this year will be held in Marbella in Spain.

Branded as an ATP 250 competition, the Marbella Open will kick-start in the first week of April and will be held on clay in a bid to help players prepare for the clay court swing.

Interestingly, Marbella already hosts an ATP Challenger event with the likes of Stefano Travaglia, Pablo Andujar and Benoit Paire having made it to the finals at different times.
