What is the Berlin Tennis Exhibition Tournament?
This is one of the many tennis tournaments which have been planned during the months of June and July 2020 as a part of tennis attempting to make a return to the fold. It will be played to empty stadiums and there will be no ball-boys or girls or line umpires.
There will be two such tournaments; one will be played between July 13-15 on grass at the Steffi Graf Stadium while the other will be held in the hardcourt stadium of Tempelhof Airport between July 17 and 19.
Berlin Tennis Exhibition Player List – Who is Playing?
While the entire player list is yet to be released, the tournament could see some of the top men’s and women’s player participate including Dominic Thiem, Nick Kyrgios, Alexander Zverev, Elina Svitolina and Kiki Bertens. Interestingly, Roger Federer and Angelique Kerber have also been sent the invite and it remains to be seen if they join in.
