2020 ATP Chengdu Open Schedule & Dates

The Chengdu Open in 2020 will be played from Monday, September 28 and will go all the way through to October 4. The men’s singles final will be played on that Sunday while the two rounds of qualifiers will be held in the lead-up to the main draw.

What Happened at the 2019 ATP Chengdu?

Denis Shapovalov was the only seeded player to even make it to the final four of the tournament but he was sent out by Spaniard Pablo Carreno Busta. Busta then went on to defeat Alexander Bublik in three, gruelling sets that ended with a final set tie-breaker to win the tournament.

Earlier, top seeded John Isner, who had an opening round bye, was ousted in the second round as were the second and third seeded Felix Auger-Aliassime and Benoit Paire. Grigor Dimitrov was the only other seeded player to even reach the last-eight stage.
