At the 2019 Wimbledon, Halep dropped just four games en route the final before Williams meted out a similar treatment at the 2019 US Open.
Svitolina’s game is based on a strong defence and she is a strong baseliner, relying on excellent consistency and solid movement. An improved service over the last few years helped her push deeper into tournaments while her back-hand is the better of the two strokes.
