Also called the KPIT MSLTA for sponsorship reasons, the 2019 Pune Challenger will see participation from a plethora of Indian stars including Prajnesh Gunneswaran and Sumit Nagal. A total of 48 players will be in action in the tournament with the top 16 seeds getting a first round bye.

The remaining 32 players will feature in the first round of which 16 will make it to round two. 21 of the players in action in this edition of the Pune Challenger are Indians.

When will the 2019 Pune Challenger be played?

The 2019 edition of the Pune Challenger will kick-start from November 11 and will go all the way till November 17 when the men’s singles final will be held. The qualifiers will be played in the leadup to the main draw in the three days before November 11.

Who is Playing at the 2019 Pune Challenger?

As mentioned earlier, there is a list of 21 Indians taking part in their home tournament that will see Gunneswaran start off as the top seed. Gunneswaran opted to participate in the tournament despite the sad death of his father.
