Daniil Medvedev v Pablo Carreno Busta Live Streaming & Predictions

Daniil Medvedev and Madison Keys showed dramatic upward movements on the rankings chart after a highly successful Cincinnati Open campaign last week.

In the ATP Rankings that were released on Monday, Medvedev jumped up to the fifth spot for the first time in his career following his title win at the Cincinnati Masters. Medvedev overcame David Goffin in the final to take home his first ever Masters 1000 title.

Medvedev was following on from his finals appearance at the Rogers Cup last week where he went down to Rafael Nadal. At the Cincinnati Masters he defeated Goffin in straight sets, 7-6, 6-4.

Meanwhile Novak Djokovic maintained his top spot on the ATP Rankings with 11,685 points in his kitty, nearly 3700 points ahead of the second-placed Rafael Nadal. Roger Federer is the third ranked player in the list, 995 points behind Nadal while Dominic Thiem is fourth.

Others making the top 10 are Alexander Zverev, Kei Nishikori, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Karen Khachanov and Roberto Bautista Agut. Agut was another player who jumped up by a spot to make it to the top 10.

The WTA Rankings charts has Naomi Osaka as the top-ranked player in the world and she will enter the 2019 US Open as the top seed. Ash Barty, who had taken over the top ranking for a few weeks, is now ranked second while Karolina Pliskova and Simona Halep are third and fourth respectively.

Elina Svitolina jumped up two spots to number five while Kiki Bertens has fallen two places to seven. Petra Kvitova remains at sixth.

Serena Williams’ fine showing at the Rogers Cup where she made the final before retiring from that match sees her climb up to eighth in the world while Aryna Sabalenka is now ranked ninth. Keys completes the top 10, climbing up eight places on the WTA rankings.

Fan of all sports but a tennis lover at heart. Bawled her heart out when Federer missed those two Championships points at Wimbledon 2019 but then again, Nadal won 2022 Australian Open from two sets down. Such is life! (yes, loves both Federer and Nadal in equal doses!)
