Andy Murray v Kimmer Coppejans Head to Head

The pair have never played each other on the tour. This will be the first meeting between them.

Murray Playing the Fourth tournament in Three Weeks

In his attempt to play as many matches as he can by the end of the season and get his body use to the grind of playing on tour once again, Murray will participate in his fourth tournament in the last three weeks.

He recently saw his rankings rise by 214 places, and now he is at world number 289. He would be expecting another impressive jump as the latest ranking come out due to reaching the second round at the Shanghai Masters before losing to Italian Fabio Fognini.

Murray would still be ruing the chance to serve for the match which he did not take. He was visibly upset with Fognini earlier in the set with an incident where the Italian apparently shouted just as Murray was about to play a shot.

He has shown enough signs in the short comeback trail so far that he will soon be in the top 100 rankings. Murray was impressive in Mallorca Challenger, and his performances in Beijing & Shanghai have been much better. He even beat world number 13 and the US Open Semifinalist Matteo Berrettini in Beijing as well.

With no points to defend till the end of the season, he would be hoping to regain as many points and victories as possible before the season ends.

Andy Murray v Kimmer Coppejans Predictions & Tips

Murray may not be the player he once was, and in his own words, he is still not playing at the full throttle, which is understandable after the kind of injury trouble that he has had. Despite this, Coppejans would be no threat to the Brit.

Murray is likely to be too good for the Belgian and progress to the next round.
