Jil Teichmann v Aliona Bolsova Zadionov Head to Head
The pair have met once before, and that was just ten days ago, in qualifying for the Cincinnati Open, Teichmann winning in straights sets for the loss of just two games.

Teichmann was born in Spain, but now represents Switzerland.
2019 was a breakthrough year for the 23-year old, who won her first two senior WTA titles, first the Prague Open in May, and then the Palermo International in July two months later, defeating Kiki Bertens in the final, her first ever win over a top ten player.
She has also won six titles on the ITF tour, all on her favourite surface of clay.
Despite this, she showed her prowess on hard courts earlier this month, when she reached the final in both singles and doubles at the Top Seed Open in Lexington, only to lose both matches.
She has only ever won one match in the main draw of a Grand Slam, and that was in New York two years ago, when she got to the second round.
Prior to lockdown, she had not been beyond the second round of any tournament in 2020.
However, after Lexington, she came through two rounds of qualifying to make the main draw at the Cincinnati Open, but then was beaten by Annett Kontaveit in straight sets in the second-round.

Bolsova Zadionov, a Moldovan-born Spaniard
Bolsova Zadionov was born in Moldova, and represented them between 2012 and 2013, before switching her allegiance after she was given Spanish citizenship.
As a junior, she was ranked as high as 4 in the world and she enjoyed a successful spell playing college tennis in the USA. She has never won a senior WTA but has claimed six victories on the junior ITF circuit, most recently in Darmstadt, Germany, in 2018.
In February, she reached the final of the ITF tournament in Cairo, but she was then thrashed by Marta Kostyuk of the Ukraine.
The 22-year old’s best performance in a Grand Slam came last June, when she reached the fourth-round, before losing to Amanda Anisimova of the USA. She then qualified for the US Open, but lost at the second-round stage in three sets to the Romanian Sorana Mihaela Cristu.
Apart from that run in Cairo, she failed to qualify for either Auckland or Melbourne prior to lockdown.
Since then Bolsova Zadionov failed to qualify for Palermo, and was beaten in the first-round in Prague.
She was beaten easily by Teichmann in qualifying for Cincinnati.
