Ekaterina Alexandrova v Maddison Inglis Head to Head
There two have never played each other before. This will be the first match between the 25-year old Russian, and the Australian player, who is three years younger.

Earlier this year in January, Alexandrova got her 2020 off to a great start by winning her first WTA senior title, beating Elena Rybakina in the final of the Shenzhen Open. She had previously been a beaten finalist in the Linz Open in 2018.
Alexandrova has also won three $125k series events, winning the tournament in Limoges in 2016, 2018, and, again last year.
In all she has won seven ITF titles, and although two of those events were clay tournaments, she is better known as a hard-court player.
Last year she reached the third round in Paris for the first time, beating the 2010 finalist, Samantha Stosur along the way, and, in Melbourne this year, she reached the same stage, eventually losing to Petra Kvitova.
In the Rome Open, she lost in the first round, but she did progress to the second round in Strasbourg before going down to Katerina Sinaikova of the Czech Republic.

First-Time in Paris for Inglis
This is the first time that Inglis has made the main draw in Paris, and only the second time she has appeared in a Grand Slam – she reached the first round of the Australian Open in 2016 as a teenager.
In recent years she has made significant progress up the world rankings, last year breaking into the world’s top 200 for the first time; she is now ranked 124 in the WTA rankings.
That move up the standings is due to her for on the ITF circuit, where she has won five singles and two doubles titles.
Two of those came earlier this year, both on home soil, in Burnie and Perth. However, all of those finals have been on hard courts – she has little experience on clay.
In her warm-up event for this Championship in the ITF event in Cagnes-sur-Mer in France earlier this week on clay, she lost in the first round to Ekaterine Gorgodze of Georgia, the world 214.
