Martinez Makes Main Draw in Estoril
Bublik’s challenger in Estoril is the Spanish qualifier Pedro Martinez, who made it through to the main draw of the tournament after winning his two qualifying matches on Saturday and Sunday.
Like every other Spaniard, Martinez have been born and brought up on the red dirt and likes to glide and slide on the surface. Additionally, Martinez loves to wear down his rivals with his defensive baseline game.
Martinez had also participated in the Monte Carlo Masters as a qualifier and did well by progressing through to the first round of the tournament. Unfortunately, he failed to win his opener against Tommy Paul of the United States as he was forced to pull out of the contest due to an injury.
