Denis Kudla v Jenson Brooksby Head to Head
The pair have never met before. This will be the first match between the two Americans, with Kudla eight years the older.

Unlike Brooksby, Kudla has a lot of experience of playing on grass, have qualified tot Wimbledon seven time, and been as far as the fourth round six years ago.
This year, having come through the qualifying tournament he made it through to the third round before losing to the eventual champion, Novak Djokovic. It was a straight sets defeat, but Kudla gave the Serb a good game.
Six years ago, he reached the final of two Challenger events on grass in the UK, losing ii Surbiton, but winning in Ilkley.
Kudla had a tough match in the first round against another American, Steve Johnson, the world number 83, and number six seed.
The first set was very scrappy, with plenty of mistakes from both men, as they struggled to hold service. Eventually it went to a tie-break, which Kudla eventually won.
The standard improved in the second set, but after the first six games were shared, Kudla dropped his serve twice, enabling Johnson to even the match up.
It continued tight into the third set, but then Kudla engineered a break and consolidated it to ultimately claim victory.

Brooksby Makes Successful Grass Court Debut
Brooksby played collegiate tennis at Baylor University In Texas, and qualified for the main draw at the 2019 US Open, where he heat former Wimbledon finalist Thomas Berdych before losing to Nikoloz Basilashvili.
He has enjoyed a strong year on the Challenger circuit reaching four finals and winning three of them – in Potchefstroom, South Africa, and Orlando and Tallahassee on American soil.
That form was enough to earn him an invitation to this tournament, and the chance to play a competitive match on grass for the first time.
Not daunted by the experience though, he defeated Russian veteran Evgeny Donskoy in straight sets for only his second tour victory since that win over Berdych.
Brooksby broke the Russian in the sixth game of the first set,, and although Donskoy was soon on level terms, the American broke him again to take the first set.
Early in the second set, Brooksby broke Donskoy again, and that proved to be decisive. The rest of the match went with serve, and no break points were offered, or taken, on either side of the net.
Kudla v Brooksby Prediction and Tip
Kudla will begin this match favourite to win against an opponent who has only ever won two senior tour matches, and is still finding his feet on grass.
