Felix Auger- Aliassime v Filip Krajinovic Head to Head

Krajinovic leads the head-to-head by 2-1 with the Canadian winning their most recent encounter earlier this year on the clay courts of Rome in a deciding third set.

Auger- Aliassime Hoping To End Season On High

It has been a positive season overall for young Canadian Felix Auger- Aliassime. After a confident run on the  grass, where he made the finals at Stuttgart, final four at Halle and the Wimbledon quarter-finals, it was another good run for Felix Auger- Aliassime on the hard courts of North America.

Early losses in Washington DC and Toronto were followed by a fair run in Cincinnati including a win over Matteo Berrettini and coming into New York more confident for the last major of the year.

While it was not the most impressive start to the US Open for him being pushed in the early rounds, the young Canadian put up strong showings to defeat Roberto Bautista Agut, Frances Tiafoe and Carlos Alcaraz to make the final four losing to eventual champion Daniil Medvedev.

Auger-Aliassime has had a less impressive run thereafter with an opening round loss at Indian Wells and although he made the quarter-finals in Vienna, he will be disappointed with a poor second round loss last week at the Paris Masters against German Dominik Koepfer.

The Canadian playing his last event of the year, having failed to qualify for the Tour Finals in Turin next week, will look to end a good season on a high here in Stockholm.

Krajinovic Halts String Of Losses

Serbian Filip Krajinovic has been woefully out of form in recent times. After a semi-final run at the Sofia Open, it has been a disappointing 1-3 run for the Serb with him coming into Stockholm on the back of three opening round losses.

An early loss at the US Open started the slide and although he looked like redeeming himself in Sofia, it was another downward trend thereafter for Krajinovic.

Coming into the Paris Masters last week after suffering two back-to-back first-round defeats on the road in Moscow and Vienna, Krajinovic bowed out in the opening round again after losing to big-serving American Reilly Opelka.

The Serb began his Stockholm run against Uzbek veteran Denis Istomin who was a qualifier here and looked to rekindle some of his old form with a striking 6-4, 6-2 win that would have done wonders for his confidence coming up against second seed Felix Auger- Aliassime.

Auger- Aliassime v Krajinovic Prediction and Tip

This makes for a good contest with Krajinovic having proven his worth on the faster indoor surfaces in the past. Expect another tight battle between these two with the higher ranked Auger- Aliassime pulling off a three set win.

Tip: Auger-Aliassime to win in three sets: 11/4 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
