Benoit Paire v Jaume Munar Head to Head
The players have met three times and all meetings have been on clay. While Paire won the first two meetings, Munar won their most recent meeting at Parma last summer.

First round losses at both the Melbourne and Adelaide ATP 250s including walkovers and losing sets to love did not make for the best start to the Down Under swing.
However, Paire came back strong winning a tough opener at the Aussie Open against Brazilian Thiago Monteiro in a tough five setter and then upset Bulgarian former world number three Grigor Dimitrov in the second round.
Up against Stefanos Tsitsipas in the third round, the French veteran put up a good fight but the Greek prevailed in four sets.
After a better than expected run at the first major of the year, Paire heads to the Latin American clay swing, a surface he has done well on before and if the Paire temperament stays afloat, he can expect some good results given his experience.

Munar Hoping For Impressive Clay Season
24-year-old young Spaniard Jaume Munar comes into the 2022 season with promise exhibited from seasons past, but looking to make a name for himself in more concrete terms.
The season got off to a mixed start for Munar, with a good win against South African Kevin Anderson in the opener at the Melbourne ATP 250 where he mad the quarter-finals, followed by a round of 16 loss the next week to veteran Marin Cilic in Adelaide.
Facing Russian Aslan Karatsev in the Aussie Open first round, Munar was up two sets to one but then the lack of experience in such situations showed as he let go of the advantage to bow out in a decider.
Moving over to the clay season, the Spaniard who is well accustomed to the surface will look to get into the groove sooner rather than later and garner some good results as he continues his progress on the tour.
