World no. 38 Aliaksandra Sasnovich had a strong showing at the French Open, reaching the fourth round of the tournament for the first time in her career.
The Belarusian has been in decent touch throughout the year and that is reflected in her overall main draw record of 16-10 in 2022. She had reached her third career final in Melbourne at the start of the season, but remains without a trophy after she lost to Amanada Anisimova in the final.
On grass, Sasnovich has produced some good results. She made it to the fourth round at Wimbledon in 2018 and the third round last year.
Although she has won just two more main draw matches on the surface, her accomplishments at the Championships cannot be taken lightly.

Gasanova Makes it Into the Main Draw
Playing Sasnovich will be Anastasia Gasanova, who entered the main draw with a straight sets win over Nigina Abduraimova in the second qualifying round on Sunday.
The 7-5, 6-2 win followed a comeback win over Eva Lys in the first qualifying round.
Gasanova, who beat Elina Svitolina in Adelaide-1 this year, has not won another main draw match this season, while losing three. She has mostly lost in the qualifying rounds, but did make it past the qualifiers at the French Open, only to lose her opener.
Ranked No. 147, the 23-year-old is 0-1 at the tour level on grass and 3-3 overall on the surface. Can she win her first tour level main draw match on grass?
