Griekspoor Comes Through Qualifiers
Dutch player, Tallon Griekspoor came through against Mats Moraing and Peter Gojowczyk in the qualifiers to seal his spot in the main draw.
Griekspoor played in the Hertogenbosch Open in Netherlands last week. He won the first round against Aljaz Bedene 7-5, 7-5 and lost to Felix Auger Aliassime 6-7(2), 6-7(5) in the second round.
Similar to Molcan, Griekspoor had also done extremely well to establish himself in the main tour. He dominated the challenger level in 2021 and has had a major break through in that period.
The Dutchman has a good serve, extremely good court coverage and is excellent off both wings. He can be a real star and further climb through the rankings by the end of the year.

Griekspoor has already played four matches on grass and has won 3, while Molcan will play his first match on grass. Griekspoor has also beaten him in their only H2H and will be confident he can repeat that here in Halle.
