Krajinovic Fresh From Queens Final

Filip Krajinovic had a 8-13 career record on grass prior to this season. He ended up making a fantastic run to the final of Queens last week which was also his first final on Grass.

The Serbian’s serve and volley approach has gotten much better over the past two years. He was able to fit that into his grass game and it has worked out very well for him.

Another surprising stat is that Krajinovic has never made it into the second round of Wimbledon. He has won a couple of qualifier matches, but he has just never been able to get it right in London.

Krajinovic has a 16-12 record on all surfaces this year. He also reached the semifinal in Montpellier earlier this year.

Lehecka Looking to Stamp His Mark on the Tour

In February this year, Jiri Lehecka had stunningly reached the Semifinal of the ATP 500 tournament in Rotterdam, having had his first ATP tour win in that same tournament.

Since then, the promising player from Czech Republic has struggled to find wins at the tour level. Despite his poor form at the tour level, he has still cracked his career high rank of 74.

Lehecka has fantastic caliber to play ground strokes. However his serve does not win him cheap points and hence it is very difficult to keep winning at this level with only a baseline game.

He will look at this Grand Slam as an opportunity to make a name on the tour and prove he is competent at this stage.

Krajinovic v Lehecka Prediction and Tip

Both players will feel that they have a good first round draw here. However, the Queens final run will give Krajinovic the extra confidence and the manner in which he has been serving, he might have the edge on the pressure points.

Tip: Krajinovic to win: 4/11 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
