Roger Federer v Filip Krajinovic Head to Head
The two players have met twice on the ATP circuit. Both meetings were in 2018, at Indian Wells and more recently, at Basel. While Indian Wells was a convincing victory for Federer, it took him three tight sets to win at Basel.
Federer Hoping for Clinical Performance
Roger Feder’s opening match at the Miami Open was considerably more challenging than he would have hoped for. Federer, not at his best, lost the first set but came back to beat Moldovan Radu Albot in three sets. Federer’s return of serve which was below par at the Indian Wells final against Dominic Thiem, continued to let him down again.

Krajinovic has been on the ATP circuit for close to a decade and has a good powerful game that cannot be underestimated by his opponents. The Serb however has not been consistent and thus his results and ranking have not lived up to his potential. Krajinovic will be hoping to continue his recent run of form here in Miami.
