2023 US Open Tennis Schedule & Dates

This year’s US Open main draw will kick-start on Monday, August 28 and as is the case with all the Grand Slam competitions, it will go on for a fortnight. The final match of the tournament, the men’s singles final, will be played on Sunday, September 10.

The schedule for the main draw at the US Open will have its first round matches on August 28 and 29 and this will continue for the second, third and fourth round matches over sets of two days apiece, till September 4.

Two of the men’s and women’s quarter-finals will be hosted on September 5 and the remaining last-eight matches in both singles draws will held on September 6.

The women’s semi-finals will be played on September 7 followed by the men’s doubles final on Friday, September 8. This will also be the day the men’s singles semi-finals will be held.

The women’s singles final and the men’s singles final will be held on the following two days.

What Happened at 2022 US Open?

Carlos Alcaraz won the men’s singles title at the 2022 US Open by defeating Casper Ruud in the final while the women’s singles tournament was won by Iga Swiatek who overcame Ons Jabeur in the final.

Both players were winning this tournament for the first time and both ended the season ranked number one in the world.
