Brandon Nakashima v Richard Gasquet Head to Head
Their only previous meeting came in Florence last year with Nakashima grabbing an easy win.

Nakashima, who started off a 3/4 favourite with bet365 in his second round match, came back from a set down to win 6-7 (5), 7-6 (5), 6-2 and make it his first set of successive victories since the Lyon Open in March.
It was also the first time this year that Nakashima had done so in a hardcourt competition but that only improved his overall win-loss record to 11-17 for the season.

Gasquet Ends Six-Match Losing Streak
Sure, Gasquet had won a few rounds in a Challenger tournament and then a match in the Hopman Cup but as far as top-level ATP competitions go, he was on a six-match losing streak coming into his second round match here against Marc-Andrea Huesler.
No surprises then that despite playing a clay-court specialist like Huesler both players had gone into the encounter at 10/11 odds with bet365 to win.
The surprise actually came in the form of the nature of Gasquet’s win who thwarted any breaking opportunities that Huesler had in the match, thereby helping him ease past his opponent. Gasquet did miss out on seven break-points but kept hammering away and broke his opponent twice in the encounter.
