Ons Jabeur v Linda Noskova Head to Head
Noskova won their only meeting in the semifinal of the Adelaide International earlier this year, winning the contest in three sets.

It turned out to be a tough day in the office for Ons Jabeur, but the world no. 5 put up a gutsy display beat Camila Osorio in the first round despite suffering from flu and having breathing difficulties on Tuesday.
Jabeur, who went down to Iga Swiatek in the final last year, saved 12 of 18 break points and converted 7 of 16 to win the two hours and two minutes contest 7-5, 7-6 (7-4).
Jabeur, who finished runner-up at Wimbledon for the second straight year, improved her season record to 25-11.
She won her fourth WTA title in Charleston this season and her runner-up finish in Wimbledon was her eighth over her career. Jabeur had a slow start to the year and even missed a few tournaments due to an injury. She got going during the clay season and since then she has been in decent touch.

Noskova Routs Brengle
World no. 41 Linda Noskova handed Madison Brengle a straight sets drubbing in the first round of the US Open on Tuesday.
The 18-year-old Czech needed just 53 minutes to trounce the American 6-2, 6-1. Broken twice by the world no. 103 in the first set, Noskova broke her four times in the opening set and twice in the second to earn just a second win a Grand Slam tournament.
Noskova had reached the second round at the French Open this year.
Noskova has been in fantastic form over the last two months. She was a quarterfinalist in Warsaw, a finalist in Prague and made it to the round of 16 in Cincinnati.
Overall, she is 32-18 this year and that includes runs to her first two WTA finals. The first of what was in Adelaide, while the second in Prague.

Having beaten Jabeur once this season, Noskova will be confident going into this once and she will test the Tunisian. The match will also be a test of Jabeur’s fitness. But given her experience and the fighter she is, the fifth seed may edge past the Czech to reach the third round.
