Valeria Savinykh v Nadia Podoroska Head to Head
The pair have played once before, and that was in a Challenger event in Germany on clay nine years ago, Savinykh winning in straight sets.

Savinykh Beats the Fifth Seed
This is the second time in three weeks that Savinykh has made the second round of a WTA tournament, having battled her way through qualifying first.
Playing though the number five seed, Varvara Gracheva of France, she was the underdog going into their match.
And, despite going an early break up, the match appeared to be following its expected course when Gracheva won four games in a row in the first set.
Savinykh, though, had not read the script. She got the break back and then saved five set points on her own serve. Another break gave her the chance to serve for the set, and she made no mistake.
Gracheva, then, handed her the advantage by dropping her serve at the start of the second set.
She did, though, recover it, and the set seemed destined for a tie-break, until more lapses in concentration from the naturalised Frenchwoman saw her concede her serve again.
That gave Savinykh the chance to serve out for the match, and she needed no second invitation.

Podoroska Gets Guangzhou Revenge
When Podoroska saw that she would be playing Xiyu Wang of China again in the first round her heart may have sunk.
After all, it was Wang who had convincingly beaten her in the first round in Guangzhou last week on her way to her maiden WTA title, a victory which had propelled her to 58 in the world rankings.
Revenge will taste all the sweeter for that.
Not that it seemed a likely prospect when the Argentine dropped her opening serve of the match.
She did get the break back, but, when Wang immediately broke her again, the Chinese appeared in the driving seat again.
Once again Podoroska recovered the break, and she went on to win the subsequent tie-break.
Wang seemed determined to fight back, and she broke the Argentine early in the second set, and then had further opportunities to break her again.
Her inability to take those chances came back to haunt her, as Podoroska stunned her with two successive breaks of her own.
She was able to serve out to enjoy a victory that would have enjoyed more than most.
Savinykh v Podoroska Prediction and Tip
Given that there are 77 places separating their respective world rankings, Podoroska will fully expect herself to win this match against an opponent still very inexperienced at this level.
Tips:
- Low Risk Tip: Podoroska to win: 7/11 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
- Moderate Risk Tip: Under 23.5 games in the match: 5/6 (Click Here to Bet with 888Sport)
