When & Where will the WTA Hua Hin 2024 be Played?
The Thailand Open 2024 will be hosted at the True Arena in Hua Hin as a part of the WTA 250 series. First played in 2019, it has had a couple of years when it wasn’t played because of the Covid-19 pandemic but it’s back again and will be in its fourth edition.
The tournament begins on Monday, January 29 with its opening round matches and will go on till Sunday, February 4 when the women’s singles and doubles finals will be held.
There will be qualifiers held in the weekend preceding the main draw matches.

The draw will be led by Poland’s Magda Linette, who has been anointed the top seed for the competition. She had won the title in 2020.

What Happened at the Previous WTA Hua Hin Open?
Zhu Lin kick-starts this year’s tournament as the defending champion after she claimed the title last year by overcoming Lesia Tsurenko in the final. She won 6–4, 6–4 to win the title making it her maiden WTA tournament victory.
This was after Lin had overcome fellow Chinese player Xinyu Wang and Tsurenko had benefitted from the retirement of the top seeded Bianca Andreescu in their respective semifinals.
