When & Where will the WTA Abu Dhabi Open 2024 be Played?
The third edition of the Abu Dhabi Open will kick-start from Saturday, February 3 when the first round of the qualifiers will be played. The tournament main draw starts from Monday, February 5 and will go on till Sunday, February 11 when the finals will be held.
The venue for this year’s Abu Dhabi Open will be International Tennis Centre, Zayed Sports City in Abu Dhabi.

What Happened at the Previous WTA Abu Dhabi Open?
This is just the third edition of the Abu Dhabi Open having first been played in 2021. Belinda Bencic had won the previous edition by beating Liudmilla Samsonova in the final in a hard-fought three-setter after having lost the first set 6-1.
The second seed in the competition, Bencic earned a first round bye before going past Marta Kostyuk, Shelby Rogers and Beatriz Haddad Maia to make it to the final. On the other hand, Samsonova was seeded eighth and had to defeat Barbora Krejcikova, 2021 runner-up Veronila Kudermetova and Qinwen Zheng to enter the title-decider round.
