Where will the Indian Wells Open 2024 be Played?
The venue for this year’s Indian Wells Open is the same as before, i.e. the Indian Wells Tennis Garden in Indian Wells, Palm Springs, California, in the Coachella Valley.
The Stadium 1 here, which is also the centre court, has a capacity of over 16,100 making it the second largest outdoor tennis stadium in the world of tennis. This facility was established in the year 2000.
When will the Indian Wells Open 2024 be Played – The Schedule
Qualifiers
The women’s singles qualifying rounds will begin on Sunday, March 3 and will be played over three days. The men’s qualification rounds will be held on March 4 and 5.
Men’s & Women’s Singles
The singles main draw competition will kick-start from March 6 with its first round matches. All the men’s and women’s first round matches will be held on March 6 and 7 and then each subsequent round in both the competitions will be hosted over two days apiece through to the fourth round.
All the quarterfinals matches will be played on March 14, which will be followed by the women’s singles semifinals on the subsequent day. The men’s singles semifinals will be hosted on March 16 with the two singles finals to be played on March 17, the final day of the tournament.
Men’s & Women’s Doubles
The doubles competition begins on March 10 and will have 32 teams participate in both, the men’s and women’s draw. The men’s doubles final will be held on March 15 while the women’s doubles title-decider will be hosted on the following day.

Novak Djokovic will finally make his return to Indian Wells after having missed out since 2020 because of his stance against vaccination. He will be joined by Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner.
