Guido Pella v Corentin Moutet Head to Head

The 20-year-old Frenchman had a dream run in Doha at the start of the season. He reached the finals and beat Stan Wawrinka, Milos Raonic and Tennys Sandgren along the way. It was an incredible run considering he started from qualifying rounds. In the end, he couldn’t get past Andrey Rublev but will take huge confidence from that performance.
His rankings jumped to career-best 70 on the back of that run as well. Just like his opponent, Moutet is also a very strong clay-court player. He has won close to 70% of his matches on the clay courts. He got to the second round after comfortably beating Thiago Monteiro in straight sets.
