Who is Playing on Day 7 of US Open 2020?

Fourth round matches in both sections of the draw, the men’s and women’s singles, will be played this Sunday with world number one Djokovic taking on Pablo Carreno Busta in a match everyone will have their eyes on. Djokovic’s form extends back to the start of the year, having lost not a single match so far in 2020.

Over in the women’s section of the draw, the two top players in action will be Naomi Osaka and Petra Kvitova. Osaka is a former winner and on a solid run of her own since returning from the pandemic break, and she takes on in-form Anett Kontaveit in this fourth round encounter. Kvitova will be up against Shelby Rogers, one of the two Americans taking court on the day.

Also in action will be the fifth seed Alexander Zverev, who has not looked convincing in any of the wins so far but done a good job nonetheless because of the quality of opposition he has faced. He will take on surprise entrant Alejandro Davidovich Fokina.

Seventh seeded David Goffin faces the 12th seeded Denis Shapovalov who recorded a stunning comeback from behind win over Taylor Fritz, while Borna Coric plays Jordan Thompson.

Former winner and 17th seeded Angelique Kerber has a fight on her hands when she takes on Jennifer Brady while the eighth seeded Petra Martic is on her way to making a surprise entry into the quarterfinals when she takes on Yulia Putintseva.
