Action at the Philippe-Chatrier Court begins with the seventh seeded Matteo Berrettini taking to court first up for his third round match against Daniel Altmaier before the Australian Open winner and fourth seeded Sofia Kenin to continue her fighting displays. Clay isn’t her most preferred surface and she has been stretched but not beaten yet.
Kenin takes on Irina Bara, one of the few surprise faces in the third round of the tournament this time. Also taking to court will be Fiona Ferro, who shocked Elena Rybakina last match, and she will face Patricia Maria Tig as the third match on this court while the action here will end with the top seeded Novak Djokovic taking on another shock entrant Daniel Elahi Galan.

Over at the Court Suzanne-Lenglen, it will be the Spaniards Roberto Busta-Agut taking on Pablo Carreno Busta, who is coming off a strong showing at the US Open. Men’s singles third round action will continue after this match as well with Stefanos Tsitsipas hoping to get himself an easy win over Aljaz Bedene and a place in round four.
Petra Kvitova has gone about her business efficiently and she takes on Canadian youngster Leylah Fernandez in her third round match, which will also be the third match of the day on the court.
Action here will finish with former French Open champion and Australian Open runnerup Garbine Muguruza taking on the challenge of Danielle Collins for a place in the round of 16.

One of the other top players who will play today is the in-form 13th seeded Andrey Rublev, and he will be up against South Africa’s Kevin Anderson at Court Simonne-Mathieu.
This match will be followed by Clara Burel and Shuai Zhang hunting for their respective maiden fourth round spots in the tournament, while the 18th seeded Grigor Dimitrov takes on Roberto Carbaelles Baena and Jelena Ostapenko of Latvia plays Spain’s Paula Badosa.
The remaining matches in the day include Aryna Sabalenka playing Ons Jabeur and Karen Khachanov taking on Cristian Garin at Court 14, while Marton Fucsovics faces Thiago Monteiro and Petra Martic will be up against Laura Siegemund at Court 7.
