Grigor Dimitrov v Alex de Minaur Head to Head
This will be the second meeting between Dimitrov and de Minaur. In their first, Dimitrov had overcome de Minaur in straight sets at the US Open last year.

Dimitrov Benefits from Raonic Withdrawal
An abdominal injury for Milos Raonic heading into the quarterfinal of the Antwerp Open meant he was forced to withdraw from their match, giving Dimitrov a free pass to enter the semifinal.
Earlier, Dimitrov was the second-favourite going into the match against Raonic thanks to his up and down record all year. Having made it to the quarterfinal only twice before this competition and with only one semifinal appearance to his name in 2020, Dimitrov would grab a chance to play in another last-four stage encounter.
Dimitrov had earlier overcome Pablo Andújar in the second round after bit of a slow start that underlined the kind of form he has shown all season. The Bulgarian lost the first set to Andujar before levelling it off in the second.
The third set could have gone either way before Dimitrov sealed it off 6-4 to complete a nervy win that took him to the quarterfinals. Dimitrov also had an opening round effectively having played just one match to reach the semifinal!

De Minaur Drops Just Three against Giron
The Aussie world number 29 hadn’t had the best of starts to the competition when he dropped the first set against Richard Gasquet but since that, he has won six sets in a row to reach the semifinal.
This includes wins over his second round opponent Feliciano Lopez, who was sent packing 6-4, 6-2 before he dropped just three games against Marcos Giron in the quarterfinal.
De Minaur, who had come into the tournament on the back of a three-match winning streak at the Ultimate Tennis Showdown, looked to be in a contest in the first set when things went to serve till the fifth game. It was the break of serve in the sixth game to love that changed the entire momentum of the match.
From there on, the Aussie dropped a mere one game, breaking Giron thrice in the second set to complete a 6-3, 6-0 victory.
He will now be up against an opponent ranked nine places above him and could be in for an exciting tussle.
Grigor Dimitrov v Alex de Minaur Prediction and Tip
This is a tough one to call because on the one hand is Dimitrov who has been patchy all year and won just one match to reach the semifinal while on the other is a player ranked below him but shown momentum. De Minaur is a heavy favourite at 3/5 here but we can expect Dimitrov to give it a fight.
Tip: De Minaur to win in three sets: 3/1 (bet365)
