Aryna Sabalenka v Oceane Dodin Head to Head
Sabalenka’s only match against Dodin came as recently as the US Open earlier this year. The Belarusian world number 11 won it in straight sets but not before she was stretched to a tie-breaker in the first set.

Sabalenka Skips Past Voegele
It hadn’t been the most straightforward of straight-set wins for Sabalenka in the first round against Jasmine Paolini but she dispelled any doubts about her form with a comprehensive performance in the second round.
Sabalenka crushed Stefanie Voegele 6-0, 6-3 to advance to the last eight stage of the tournament.
Having won the last tournament she had played before this one, the title having come at the Ostrava Open, Sabalenka will remain a favourite to make it her third title this season if she continues to dish out performances like this against her remaining opponents too.
Interestingly, Voegele had a chance to break Sabalenka in the very first game of the encounter but Sabalenka came back from 15-40 down to win six games in a row. She didn’t drop a single point on serve after that first game.
Sabalenka needed to save a few more break-points in the second set, before managing and holding on to a solitary break of serve which helped her clinch the encounter.

Dodin on a Nine-Match Winning Run
While she is ranked outside the top 100 at the moment, Dodin is showing glimpses of why she was once a top-50 player. Having won the Reims ITF competition two weeks ago, Dodin came into this tournament needing to qualify for the event.
She did so in fine style with back to back straight-set wins in the qualifying rounds but it looked like her winning run was soon going to be halted when she fell a set behind in her opening round match in Linz. As it turned out Dodin fought back from the brink against Jil Teichmann to win the next two and make the round two.
In the second round, Dodin broke Sorana Cirstea once in the first set and twice in the second to carve out a 6-4, 6-4 win that took her to this quarterfinal. Her serve looked to be her strength last round but can she continue with it and make it difficult for Sabalenka to win here?
Sabalenka v Dodin Prediction And Tip
.Sabalenka is a heavy favourite and we think she will be a good odds to win it straight sets.
Tip: Sabalenka to win in straight sets: 8/13 (bet365)
