Milos Raonic v Hubert Hurkacz Head to Head
This will be the first meeting between the 30-year-old Raonic and the 24-year-old Hurkacz.

Canada’s Milos Raonic improved to 7-3 this year, as he knocked out France’s Ugo Humbert in the third round on Sunday.
The former World No. 3 needed an hour and 40 minutes to beat the Frenchman 6-4, 7-5.
The Canadian served 12 aces, saved all three break points that he faced in the match, while converting two of five to get a second successive straight sets win.
In the second round, Raonic, who received a first-round bye, had needed just 60 minutes to dispatch Australia’s Jordan Thompson 6-2, 6-1.
Ranked 19th in the world, the 6’5” right-hander has not been broken yet in this year’s Miami Open.
He came into the tournament with a 5-3 record in 2021.
Following a stellar 23-9 2020 season, which saw him reach the final in Cincinnati, semifinals at the Paris Masters, St. Petersburg Open and Delray Beach Open and the quarterfinals at the Australian Open, Raonic began 2021 with a 1-1 record at the ATP Cup.
The 2016 Wimbledon finalist then reached the fourth round of the Australian Open, falling to Novak Djokovic in four. He last featured in Acapulco, where he won his opening match against Tommy Paul but lost to Dominik Koepfer in the Round of 16.
A 23-time ATP finalist, Raonic won last of his eight titles in Brisbane in 2016. Since then he is 0-7 in the finals. On Tuesday, he will be aiming to reach a fourth quarterfinal in Miami. He has never gone past the last eight in his previous nine main draw appearances in the tournament.

Hurkacz Ousts Shapovalov
Standing between Raonic and a place in the last eight will be Poland’s Hubert Hurkacz, who knocked out sixth seed Denis Shapovalov in the Round of 32 on Monday.
The Pole saved all three of the break points he faced, and capitalized on the only opportunity to break Shapovalov’s serve to win the one-hour-and-33-minute contest 6-3, 7-6 (8-6).
The win was the World No. 37’s third against the Canadian, who got his only win over the Pole a few days ago in the second round of the Dubai Open.
The 26th seed Hurkacz had on Saturday beaten America’s Denis Kudla 7-6 (7-5), 6-4 in the Round of 64.
The two wins in Miami mean Hurkacz is now 6-0 in the U.S. this year, having begun the season with a run to the title at Delray Beach. The 6’5” Pole defeated Daniel Galan (Round of 16), Roberto Quiroz (quarterfinal), Chris Harrison (semifinal) and Sebastian Korda (final), all in straight sets, to clinch his second career title, adding to his 2019 success at the Winston Salem Open.
The 24-year-old then reached the quarterfinal of Melbourne-1, before making first-round exits from the Australian Open and Montpellier Open.
He ended the three-match losing streak in Rotterdam, defeating Adrian Mannarino in the first round, before going down fighting to Greece’s Stefanos Tsitsipas. In Dubai, he repeated the pattern, winning his first round match against Richard Gasquet, while losing the second to Shapovalov.
Last season, Hurkacz had reached the semifinals in Auckland and the quarterfinals in Cologne as he ended the season with a 15-13 record.
Raonic v Hurkacz Prediction and Tip
Both are yet to drop a set in this tournament and have looked solid so far. Raonic’s experience gives him the edge, but expect the Pole to give him a tough fight.
