Today’s matches at the Charleston Open 2021, which is a part of the WTA 250 series and on a one-year license from the WTA, will see 10 singles matches played out.
Action will begin at Court 1 and Court 2 simultaneously with USA’s Claire Liu taking on Aussie Storm Sanders and Wang Yafan playing Astra Sharma in the opening round matches at 11 am local time.
A couple of hours later, the Althea Gibson Court will see its first match between Americans Kristie Ahn and Francesca Di Lorenzo facing off for a place in round two.
The top seeded Ons Jabeur will then follow suit and take on Stefanie Voegele in another first round on this centre court, before Tereza Martincova plays Emma Navarro, and fourth seeded Alize Cornet faces up to the challenge of Linda Fruhvirtova.
