Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova v Lola Radivojević Head to Head

Pavlyuchenkova Surprises a Few with Madrid Semifinal
After the kind of start that Pavlyuchenkova had to the season, it came as a huge surprise to quite a few fans she managed to make it to the semifinal at the Madrid Open two weeks ago.
The Russian went past some of the top players in the world to reach that stage on a surface she has struggled in recent times.
Wins over Madison Keys, Karolina Muchova, Jennifer Brady and Karolina Pliskova would have given Pavlyuchenkova a huge shot in the arm after her opening round exit at the Istanbul Open where she went down to Anastasia Potapova.
That run in Madrid helped Pavlyuchenkova jump up 11 spots to break into the top 30 yet again after having fallen to 48th in the world earlier this year. Can she now kick-start her Belgrade campaign with a solid showing against a player who isn’t even ranked on the WTA circuit.

Radivojević Makes Maiden WTA Main Draw
She is all of 16 years of age and was ranked outside the top 2000 on the junior ITF circuit around a couple of years ago as one would expect from someone starting out. She finished that season 351st, followed it up with a rank of 130th on that circuit last season and is currently 57th.
It doesn’t translate into too much on to the WTA circuit, but the fact that Serbian tennis organisers have awarded Radivojević a wild-card for both, the singles and doubles draw here translates into what they believe of her.
Earlier this season, Radivojević featured in a couple of senior ITF circuit competitions in Monastir and won three of the five matches she played in. At the first of those two, Radivojević made the quarterfinals while in the latter, she was knocked out in round two.
Can she cause bit of a stir in Belgrade now?
Pavlyuchenkova v Radivojević Prediction and Tip
Odds of 1/33 for a Pavlyuchenkova win make for very little sense to go for but a games handicap here could be interesting one. Can Radivojević be backed at +7.5? We think so.
