Murray to Play in his First Game Since Rotterdam
Andy Murray, currently ranked #123 in the ATP Singles Ranking, will play in his first competitive match since the Rotterdam Open back in early March.
Over there, he had made it to the second round where he lost to Andrey Rublev. In the same tournament, the Brit also picked up a groin injury that put him out of action for the entirety of the clay swing. That said, he did feature in the Italian Open doubles with Liam Broady where the duo made it as far as the second round.
Now, Murray is set to start the grass swing in his favoured tournament – the Queen’s Club Championships where he has won the title a record five times in his career.
The 34-year-old has not been that active on the tour in the last several months. In a pandemic-stricken 2020, he played in a handful of tournaments including the Cincinnati Masters, French Open, US Open, and ATP Cologne. This year, he featured in a Challenger event in Biella in February, followed by stints in Montpellier and Rotterdam.

Paire Looking to Redeem Himself on Grass
Benoit Paire has been mired in controversies, all for the wrong reasons. It seems like the pandemic and everything else that came with it has gotten the better of the Frenchman. With a win-loss tally of 2-14 and having been barred by France from representing the country in the Tokyo Olympics, things have not looked that great for Paire of late.
He is now on a five-match losing streak, including the French Open where he fell in the first round to Casper Ruud. In fact, the 32-year-old had the best run of his season in the Madrid Masters where he reached the second round, only to lose to Stefanos Tsitsipas.
Paire has not reached a singles final on the tour since the 2020 Auckland Open, where he fell to Ugo Humbert. Of course, that run came before the pandemic and since then, a lot has happened to him. He is known to lose his temper and consequently, his form on the tour.
Murray v Paire Prediction and Tip
Murray should win this match although, it may not be a straight-set win. He will start as the local favourite and playing on familiar territory, that ought to give him some kind of edge here.
Tip: Murray to win three sets: 3/1 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
