Aryna Sabalenka v Ons Jabeur Head to Head
There have been two previous meetings between these players and both have won one. Jabeur had defeated Sabalenka at the 2020 French Open third round but then lost to her at Abu Dhabi Open earlier this year.

Sabalenka Finally Makes a Grand Slam Quarterfinal
She has reached the world number four rank for a reason but that reason wasn’t her performances in Grand Slam tennis. Because despite Sabalenka winning 10 WTA titles in her career and eight in the last two and a half, she had never made the quarterfinal at a major before this.
That has changed at Wimbledon here with Jabeur defeating Monica Niculescu, Katie Boulter and Maria Osorio Serrano in the first three rounds and then getting past Elena Rynakina on the Manic Monday.
Sabalenka was stretched by Rybakina though, needing an hour and 51 minutes to get past her opponent 6-3, 4-6, 6-3 and seal her maiden quarterfinal berth.
After the duo had exchanged the first two sets of the encounter, it looked like the fans were in for a long haul as the first seven games of the decider went to serve. It was in the eighth that Sabalenka upped the ante and broke Rybakina to love, before serving it out to love too and clinch the win.
She plays one who had defeated her at a Grand Slam last year.

Jabeur Continues Grass Brilliance
Spread across three tournaments, Jabeur has now won 10 matches on grass this season and lost just one. A title win in Birmingham mid-June was followed by that rare defeat at Eastbourne where she went down fighting to Jelena Ostapenko but since then the Tunisian number one has found her mojo.
And in what was a continuation of her brilliant run, Jabeur romped past Iga Swiatek after losing the first set.
Going down in the first set after Jabeur had gone 5-3 up at one stage – losing four games in a row at that stage – the world number 24 came storming back in the next two sets breaking Swiatek five times.
Jabeur, quick as ever between points, rarely allowed Swiatek to settle down and lost just three points on her first serve in the last two sets. The 2020 French Open winner was left with very few answers to the questions Jabeur asked and fell away to a 5-7, 6-1, 6-1 defeat.
She will start her quarterfinal with enough confidence to test even the second seed.
Sabalenka v Jabeur Prediction and Tip
While Jabeur is 4/3 to win this, we reckon she could prove to be a handful for her much more fancied opponent Sabalenka. Going for a Jabeur win here.
