Olga Danilovic v Dalma Galfi Head to Head
The pair have never met before. This will be the first match between the 20-year old Serb, and the Hungarian, who is 2 years older.

Despite winning the Moscow River Cup in 2018 when the beat Anastasia Potapova in the final, Danilivic’s most recent senior tour success has come in doubles – in March she was runner-up at the Lyon Open with her partner Eugenie Bouchard.
She spends most of her time on the ITF tour, but, having come through two rounds of qualifying, she has taken advantage of a weakened field in Budapest to make the quarterfinals.
She began with a straight sets win over Tamara Korpatsch of Germany, dropping just four games to the world number 137.
And, although Irina Maria Bara of Romania, ranked 119th in the world, offered a slightly stiffer challenge in their second round match, she too was defeated in straight sets., with Danilovic stronger than her opponent in terms of both service and return.
It is the first time the 20-year old has reached the last eight of a senior tournament for more than two years.

Former Junior Champion Galfi
Galfi was the ITF Junior World Champion I 2015, the same year she won the US Open girls’ singles title, and doubles at Wimbledon.
Two years earlier she made her senior WTA tour debut at this event in the doubles, although she lost in the first round.
She spends most of her time on the ITF tour where she has already been in three finals this year, all on clay. She won the event in Daytona Beach in January, and was beaten in the final in Denain, France last month, and again in Contexeville earlier this month.
Given another wildcard into the tournament this year, she has repaid the organiser’s faith with two straight set victories, both over players higher ranked than her.
First she beat the Spanish world number 151, Aliona Bolsova Zadoinov, although she needed a tie-break in the first set.
And then she defeated Anna Karoline Schmeidlova, ranked 126th in the world, breaking her twice in the first set, and twice more in the second, Schmeidlova recovered one of those breaks in the second set, but her efforts, in the end, proved in vain.
Danilovic v Galfi Prediction and Tip
Neither woman would normally expect to feature in a quarter-final of a senior WTA event. However, although the younger of the two, Danilovic has, at least, been here before, and that greater experience should give her the edge.
